Veterinary Tech Assistant
I love working in the veterinary field for no other reason than I love animals, big and small. I am excited to start my new chapter at Adana and be able to build a long lasting relationship between both pets and clients- something that was previously hard to do in an emergency clinic.
I am originally from New York State and grew up on a dairy and horse farm in northern NY. I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Animal Science and immediately after moved to the west coast to live in Seattle. I worked at a specialty and emergency pet hospital, but after two years, I was eager to return to the Ithaca area; I learned I am not a city person!
I am a current member of United States Pony Club and enjoy competing in eventing and dressage, but also my favorite, Tetrathlon! Outside of work I can be found riding my horse, snowboarding, hiking, or cycling.
I got my cat, Moose, during my undergraduate studies from my friend’s dairy farm! I was never a cat person but I wanted a pet and acted impulsively (best decision ever!!). He has been a great travel buddy and has also been cross-country twice now!
