After earning her Doctorate Degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine Louisiana State University in 2002 she moved to Massachusetts; working there as an associate veterinarian for six years. Dr. Maurer acquired training in ultrasound and orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. In November of 2008, she moved to Ithaca, NY. After practicing for 1 1/2 years in the Ithaca area, Dr. Maurer discovered Adana Veterinary Clinic and knew she wanted to become part of the team. She joined Adana in May 2010 and brings to this practice her excellent surgical skills and her specific interests in orthopedic, feline and internal medicine.
